Whataburger Joins New Chick-fil-A at 10-Acre Retail Development in Flowery Branch, Georgia

Whataburger Opens at Halpern's Oakwood development in Flowery Branch GA

Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces Whataburger has opened a restaurant at its Oakwood property at 3437 Winder Highway in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Halpern Development Director Caleb Adams facilitated a 15-year ground lease with the fast food chain for the 1.4-acre property.

Founded in 1950 and headquartered in San Antonio, Whataburger has been recognized among top quick service restaurants. The national food chain operates over 1,050 locations in 16 states, generating more than $4 billion in annual revenue.

Oakwood is a 10-acre retail development adjacent to Publix-anchored Robson Crossing shopping center on Hwy 53 at Atlanta Hwy, a half mile south of the I-985 ramp. The property is near South Hall Middle School and Johnson High School, one mile from the University of North Georgia’s Gainesville Campus and 3.5 miles from the Atlanta Falcons Training Camp. A new Chick-fil-A opened at the property earlier this year, and additional retailers are expected to be announced.
