Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces it has completed a build-to-suit retail store with a 10-year ground lease for Mattress Firm at Indian Hills, a 124,730-square-foot shopping center in Calhoun, Georgia. Halpern delivered the 4,000-square-foot project on the heels of the development team’s completion of a Starbucks in Byron, Georgia, in September.
Founded in Houston in 1986, Mattress Firm operates more than 2,300 stores nationwide with over 6,000 employees. The company’s product selection includes Beautyrest,® Nectar,® Sealy,® Serta,® Simmons,® Sleepy’s,® Stearns & Foster,® Tempur-Pedic,® Tuft & Needle,® tulo,® and Purple®.
Owned, leased, and managed by Halpern Enterprises, Indian Hills features national tenants Tractor Supply Co., Ross, Five Below, Hibbett Sports, GNC, and The UPS Store. Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, and Captain D’s are located on separately owned outparcels at the front of the property.
