Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces it has signed a lease with dd’s DISCOUNTS to occupy 17,656 square feet at Pinetree Plaza, a 206,496-square-foot neighborhood shopping center at 5289 Buford Highway in Doraville, Georgia. Part of the Ross Stores, Inc. family of brands with more than 270 locations in 20 states, DD’s offers discounted apparel, accessories, footwear, and home fashions.
“We have enjoyed a positive, successful relationship with Ross over the years, and we’re thrilled the company chose Pinetree Plaza for this DD’s store,” said Halpern Regional Leasing Director Benjamin Halpern. “We look forward to continuing to serve the community’s needs as we bring more retail and restaurant options to the center.”
Halpern Enterprises has owned, leased and managed Pinetree Plaza for more than 60 years. Situated in the heart of Doraville on Buford Highway, the shopping center features many of the international corridor’s most popular restaurants and retailers, including Supermercado Chicago, LanZhou Ramen, Bo Bo Garden Asian Cuisine, Dim Sum Heaven, Mango Mango, and I-CE-NY.
Pinetree Plaza is also home to Mundo Hispánico, Atlanta’s largest Spanish-language newspaper, which moved into Halpern’s former office headquarters in 2018.
