Florida-based Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders has opened at Heritage Walk, Halpern’s 156,712-square-foot shopping center at 1962 North Columbia Street in Milledgeville, Georgia. The 2,740-square-foot freestanding restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating and a drive-thru.
“Huey Magoos has opened at the perfect time with the weather getting warmer and customers looking for more outdoor dining options,” said Halpern’s John Brozovic. “The restaurant offers a unique take on a familiar menu item that we think the community will love.”
Heritage Walk is anchored by Ross Dress for Less, Hobby Lobby, PetSmart and Bealls. It features national tenants Randstad, Papa John’s and Dunkin’ Donuts. The shopping center also includes a 17,464-square-foot freestanding Aldi and 3,750-square-foot freestanding Aspen Dental, constructed by Halpern’s build-to-suit division in 2016.
Heritage Walk is situated on N. Columbia Street/US-441, Milledgeville’s prime retail corridor. Adjacent to Milledgeville Mall and surrounded by an assortment of national and regional brands, the shopping center is strategically located two miles from Georgia College and downtown Milledgeville.
