Heritage Walk Redevelopment Complete

Ross Dress for Less opened July 21, 2018 at Heritage Walk in Milledgeville, Ga. The largest off-priced retailer in the U.S., Ross joins co-anchors Hobby Lobby, PetSmart and Bealls, bringing the retail center to 100 percent occupancy.

Owned, leased and managed by Halpern Enterprises, Heritage Walk features national tenants Randstad, UPS, Papa John’s and Dunkin’ Donuts.

The shopping center also includes a 17,464-square-foot freestanding Aldi and 3,750-square-foot freestanding Aspen Dental, constructed by Halpern’s build-to-suit division in 2016.

Kmart co-anchored the 156,712-square-foot property when Halpern purchased it in 2003. When Kmart closed in 2016, Halpern embarked on a $6M redevelopment, which included subdividing the 56,250-square-foot former Kmart space into three spaces for Ross, PetSmart and Bealls.

Heritage Walk is situated on N. Columbia Street/US-441, Milledgeville’s prime retail corridor. Adjacent to Milledgeville Mall and surrounded by an assortment of national and regional brands, the shopping center is strategically located two miles from Georgia College and downtown Milledgeville.
