In partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, Halpern’s Hightower Station shopping center at 2636 Martin Luther King Drive, SW will host a meal distribution pop-up every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to Noon through June 30, 2021.
Hightower is one of two meal distribution sites created by APS to provide meal kits to local children. Intended to supplement APS’ weekly meal distribution events, the 7-day meal kits include seven breakfasts and seven lunches.
On March 13, United States Representative Nikema Williams (GA-05) and Atlanta Public Schools (APS) Superintendent Dr. Lisa Herring helped distribute food at Hightower Station.
