Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces the opening of Publix supermarket at Leesville Market Place in Raleigh, N.C. Publix anchors the 62,880-square-foot shopping center located just inside the I-540 loop at the intersection of Leesville and Strickland roads.
“During planning of Leesville Market Place, Publix quickly became the natural anchor when we discovered the grocery store chain did not have a location in northern Raleigh,” said Halpern President Bill Brown. “Publix offers the dense surrounding residential population a grocery alternative that was previously lacking. We’re excited to fill a gap in the area’s retail landscape and contribute to the needs of the community.”
Ideally situated adjacent to CVS, Walgreens, a medical office building and Leesville Towne Centre, Leesville Market Place will add tenants Hollywood Feed, Sport Clips, and Noire the Nail Bar during first quarter 2019.
Leesville Market Place is the eighth shopping center Halpern has built or redeveloped with a Publix anchor and the third in North Carolina. Ocean Isle Beach Market Place in Ocean Isle Beach opened in May 2018 and Ogden Market Place in Wilmington opened in November 2017.
