Five Below Opens at Old Orchard Square

Value retailer Five Below has opened an 8,450-square-foot store at Old Orchard Square, a 131,200-square-foot retail plaza at 110 Old Orchard Square in Ellijay, Georgia. A new 18,000-square-foot Marshall’s is slated to open at the Ingles-anchored shopping center later this year.

Five Below operates over 1,500 stores in 43 states, including more than 50 in Georgia. The Philadelphia-based retailer reported $3.56B in sales in 2023 and opened 63 new stores. The Old Orchard location is the third Five Below at a Halpern-owned property.

Old Orchard Square has been owned and operated by Halpern Enterprises since 1994. Situated a mile from Gilmer Middle and High Schools and minutes from Chattahoochee National Forest, the retail center features national and regional tenants BenchMark Physical Therapy, Okinawa Restaurant, United States Postal Service, Pizza King and Farmer’s Home Furniture.
