Jack Halpern, Chairman of Halpern Enterprises, served as an expert panel member on Bisnow’s recent “Retail & Restaurant Roundup” event at the JW Marriott in Buckhead.
Rent prices are nearing the ceiling of what a “typical tenant can afford,” according to the panel of development experts.
In other trends, restaurants are currently the “darling” tenants of new development projects. Other panelists included Loudermilk Co.’s Robin Loudermilk, Marcus & Millichap’s Michael Fasano, and North American Properties’ Ron Pfohl. The panel was moderated by Franklin Street’s Monetha Cobb.
