The Shops at Belmont Retail District Now Complete in Smyrna

Halpern Enterprises has completed development of The Shops at Belmont, located at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Windy Hill Road in Smyrna, Ga. The 47,593-square-foot neighborhood retail center is part of the 48-acre Belmont mixed-use district also developed by Halpern.

“When we elected to redevelop Belmont Hills shopping center, which we had owned and operated for more than 50 years, we worked with the City of Smyrna, Cobb County Board of Education, neighborhood groups and professional planners to develop a mix of uses that appeals to the community,” said Halpern’s Chairman and CEO, Jack Halpern. “Completion of The Shops at Belmont brings Belmont’s retail transformation to a successful conclusion, and we’re excited about what it offers to residents throughout Smyrna.”

Phase II of The Shops at Belmont opened last month with F45 Training, an Australian-based group fitness brand, and Real Subs Café & Deli, a fast casual, organic restaurant. Your Pie, which specializes in customizable pizzas and paninis, will open this spring.

Phase I opened in 2016. Tenants include Creatwood Tavern, Dakotas, Cielo Mexican Grill, N’Style Barber Shop, Hearing Solutions, Sprint and J. Christopher’s.

In addition to restaurants and retail, the Belmont mixed-use development includes Belmont Physicians Center, a 30,000-square-foot medical office building anchored by Emory Healthcare; Village of Belmont single-family residential community by David Weekley Homes; 400 Belmont 274-unit luxury apartment complex; and Smyrna Elementary School.

The Shops at Belmont has up to 3,900 square feet available for lease, including a 3,850-square-foot second generation restaurant with patio, and kitchen and bar equipment. Contact John Brozivic for leasing inquiries.
