Stanton Optical, Rack Room Shoes and Chili’s restaurant are coming to Halpern’s Piedmont Marketplace shopping center, located at 1326 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., in Greer, S.C. Rack Room Shoes will occupy 6,000 square feet next to Ross. Stanton Optical and Chili’s will be built on outparcels located at the front of the shopping center.
“We’re thrilled to add Stanton, Rack Room and Chili’s to the dynamic retail lineup at Piedmont Marketplace,” said Halpern Vice President Marc Kirchhoff. “These national stores complement one another well and offer a strong mix of retail choices for the community, making it a convenient shopping destination.”
Anchored by Kohl’s, co-tenants include Tractor Supply and newly opened Ross, Ulta Beauty and Five Below. Rack Room Shoes and Stanton Optical are expected to open this fall. Chili’s anticipates a spring 2020 opening.
Halpern completed a $9.5 million renovation of Piedmont Marketplace last September, which included rebuilding the Five Below and Ulta spaces and retrofitting a former grocery store for Ross.
The 131,000-square-foot property features a signalized main entrance and is located near the heavily-trafficked intersection of Wade Hampton Blvd. and South Buncombe Road, adjacent to Lowe’s, The Home Depot, QuikTrip and other regional and national retailers.
